SAA site administrators may call for indoor recess when the following conditions occur:
- temperature falls below 20 degrees Fahrenheit
- wind, rain, freezing rain, snow, sleet, hail
- conditions of the playground
- Blacktop condition
- Ice build up
- Snow build up
- Ice and snow build up on playground equipment
When the air quality becomes bad, SAA site administrators will refer to the guidelines on the chart below.
