Syracuse Arts Academy Amphitheater

Syracuse Arts Academy Amphitheater unofficially opened in the spring of 2019 and held an official kick-off on September 26, 2019. It is a 516 reserved seat, 1000 plus general admission seating, state-of-the-art amphitheater located in Syracuse, Utah. The SAA Amphitheater was built as an extension of Syracuse Arts Academy, a charter school for grades K-9.

Audience Area/ Vendor or Exhibitor Space

The Syracuse Arts Academy Amphitheater is an outdoor venue with 516 fixed seats and space for ADA seating. As well as 1000 general admission lawn seating. There are 2 entrances into the amphitheater seating area. The west side of the amphitheater also offers a large paved parking area for food and art vendors. Seating capacity approx. 816.

Stage Area

The entirety of the stage is a concrete floor. The stage dimensions are approximately 36’ from down stage to upstage, 30’ from down stage to curtain. The back curtain is 34’ from stage left to stage right, and the back wall is 40’ in length. There is 15’ of wing space on each side of the stage. A back stage roll up door that is 10’ tall and 8’ wide that separates the front and back portions of the stage, as well as 2 standard door entrances.

Backstage

The backstage offers a ticket office, 2 dressing rooms, green room, and storage area. Each dressing room is approximately 21’ deep and 15’ wide, with 14 make-up mirrors and a private bathroom. The green room measures at 25’ by 26’, and has a refrigerator and television. Both dressing rooms and green room have speakers for performers to hear what is happening on the stage. The ticket office measures at 21’ deep and 8’ wide with 4 service windows. The storage room is 43’ by 30’ with two 10’8’ rolling doors, one for access to the loading dock, and one for access to the stage. There are 2 standard doors to access the stage, one from the green room and one from the storage area.

Equipment, Lighting, Sound and Projection

The amphitheater is equipped with state of the art sound and lighting that are suitable for most shows and performances. If the need arises outside agencies will be utilized to bring in additional equipment when necessary-at cost of the renter. Each show is unique and will be assessed individually to determine equipment requirements, with necessary staff time and charges.

Public Restrooms

There are a totally of 3 public restrooms available-male, female, and family. Access to public restroom are easily accessible for all audience members.
